YOUNGWOOD, PA – The Anne Arundel Community College men's and women's cross country teams competed at the NJCAA Region 20 Division III Championship Saturday at Westmoreland County Community College. Bailey Healy finished second overall on the women's side.

Healy ran the 5k in 23:00.6, finishing behind winner Nhaikyia Smith of Howard CC, who clocked a time of 21:42.0. The rest of the AACC squad all finished in the top 10 as Ella Woodberry placed fifth with a time of 26:31.5, Noelle Somers was seventh with a time of 28:27.7, Amanda Wright came in eighth with a time of 29:54.5, and Kaitlyn Healy placed 10^th with a time of 32:31.7.

On the men's side, host Westmoreland won the team title with 26 points. Pennsylvania Highlands was second (51), Howard CC was third (73) and AACC fourth (85). Spencer Woodbury was the top finisher for the Riverhawks, coming in 11^th with a time of 32:01.7 in the 8k race.

Trent Palmer and Austin Schaeffer finished within a second of each other in 15^th and 16^th places, with Palmer clocking a time of 33:19.8 and Schaeffer posting a time of 34:18.6. Justin Abell placed 25^th with a time of 39:21.6 and Elijah Antonious was 27^th with a time of 42:41.9.
