YOUNGWOOD, PA – The Anne Arundel Community College men's cross country team won the Region 20 Division III Championship Saturday at Westmoreland County Community College. The Riverhawks' five runners all finished in the top 10 to defeat the host Wolfpack by 13 points.
Paul Watson and Luke Jimenez earned All-Region honors, as Watson finished second overall with a time of 28:49.1 and Jimenez placed fifth with a time of 31:01.9.
Spencer Woodbury came in a beat behind in sixth place with a time of 31:02.1 and was closely followed by Grayson McMeen in seventh at 31:11.5. Luke Stout rounded out AACC's scoring in ninth place with a time of 32:03.0. Justin Abell (38:36.2) finished in 17th place.
Next up for the Riverhawks is the NJCAA Division III National Championship on November 13 at Georgia Military Academy.
