AACC Spring Sports Update

AACC Spring Sports Update

Anne Arundel Community College and NJCAA Region XX have modified their guidelines for spectators at AACC and Region XX athletic events. Beginning Saturday, March 20, 2021, spectators are welcome to attend games at Anne Arundel's campus.

Spectators must follow these guidelines:

  • Spectators must wear masks at all times while on campus
  • Spectators must social distance – remain 6 feet away from others
  • Spectators may not have contact with student-athletes during competition, including between doubleheader games
  • Spectators must sit in designated areas. Spectators are not permitted between the dugouts at the baseball and softball facilities. Spectators are not permitted on the track at Siegert Field
  • Spectators are no longer required to fill out any forms prior to visiting campus
  • If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, please stay home and watch the event online

Spectators who do not follow these guidelines may be subject to removal from campus.

The decision remains with each Region XX school whether or not they will allow spectators. Before traveling to another school for a game, check their schedule to ensure spectators are permitted. Additionally, if a visiting team can only compete at sites without spectators, Anne Arundel Community College and Region XX may modify spectator guidelines for these competitions.
