Riverhawks Earn Regional & Conference Recognition

ARNOLD, MD – Although the 2017-18 Riverhawk basketball seasons have ended for Anne Arundel Community College's men and women's teams, Terry Kenner (Glenn Dale, MD/DuVal), Daja Burnett (Arnold, MD/Severna Park), and Jordan Graham (Severn, MD/Old Mill) have all earned recognition for their season performances.

Freshman, Terry Kenner earned NJCAA DIII All-Region Honorable Mention for Region XX men's basketball, sophomore Jordan Graham earned NJCAA DIII All-Region Honorable Mention for Region XX women's basketball, and Daja Burnett earned NJCAA DIII All-Region First Team for women's basketball. In addition to her stellar performance within Region XX, Burnett also earned Second Team All- Conference for women's basketball in the Maryland Junior College Athletic Conference (MD JUCO).

Maryland is producing some great basketball players through out the state and elevating the competition each and every year.

The Riverhawk athletic program would like to congratulate all of the Riverhawks who worked tirelessly in and out of the classroom and on the court this year, but also the fantastic programs who will be representing the Maryland Junior College Athletic Conference and Region XX in their respective NJCAA National tournaments.
