ARNOLD, MD – Anne Arundel Community College's Men's & Women's Riverhawk soccer teams opened up their turf field to the community this past Friday night (9/15) hosting a free youth soccer clinic for all U8 to U12 players.

The Riverhawk players and coaches spent the evening with the local youth by providing fun and instruction through a cycle of stations designed to work on a number of various skills. It was a truly great visual as the Riverhawk athletes were sharing their love and knowledge of the game with the local community and young players who enjoyed every minute of it.

The night of community outreach also doubled as a fundraiser, as the teams collected donations for the AACC Food Pantry & Student Achievement and Success Programs, Suicide Prevention Education, as well as gently used soccer equipment for the U.S. Soccer Federation's Passback program.

This was the first year the two Riverhawk teams collaborated to offer this clinic, and is something they plan on doing more of in the future.
