GETTSYBURG, PA – The Anne Arundel Community College men's and women's cross country teams competed at the 31^st annual Gettysburg Invitational Saturday. The Riverhawks women's team finished 23^rd and the men's team finished 27^th.

Matthew Brown led AACC on the men's side in 139^th place among the 236 runner field with a 32:22.8. Gordon Bickerstaff followed in 148^th place with a 33:38.7. Timothy Caldwell followed in 154^th with a 34:27.6, and Brendan Quinn finished five places behind with a time of 34:46.4. Jude Poole wrapped up AACC's team in 180^th place with a 52:48.8.

The women's team was led by Maggie Stallings, who finished in 106^th place among the 259 runner field with a 28:39. Leslei Garcia finished in 116^th place with a 29:30.9, and Nicole Newell was in 125^th place with a 30:35.8. Morgan Argubright finished in 138^th place with a 31:37.6, and Rebecca White wrapped up scoring runners for AACC in 143^rd place with a 32:25.0. Cindy Robles-Mendez finished with a time of 41:51.2.

Both AACC teams are back in action Saturday, October 26^th at the MDJUCO/NJCAA Region XX Division III Championships at Hagerstown. The men's race begins at 10 am with the women's following at 11 am.
