Race Notes

              The Riverhawk women's cross-country team were among the 30 teams that ran at the 30thAnnual Gettysburg Invitational on Saturday (10/13). The competing teams ranged from the NJCAA level to the NCAA Division I level

              Emily Jacobsen (Harwood, MD/South River) would finish first for the Riverhawks with her 6K time of 27:46, with Madeline Fitzgerald(Shady Side, MD/Southern) next in at 30:55, followed by Leslei Garcia Mendez (Crofton, MD/Arundel) at 31:42, Jacquelyn Hamelryck (Kabwe, Zambia) at 33:21, and Heather Verdin (Severn, MD/Old Mill) at 35:39.

              The Riverhawks will compete for Regional & Conference titles in two weeks, traveling to host Westmoreland County Community College. Race date is set for Saturday October 27th, with the race start time still waiting to be set.
