Baseball Defeats Washington College on the Road

CHESTERTOWN, MD – The Anne Arundel Community College baseball team dealt Washington College a 6-1 defeat on Wednesday afternoon in Chestertown. Riverhawks starting pitcher Caleb Musco pitched six shutout innings, allowing just two hits.

Ian Sterling went 2-for-5 and Noah Rafsky drove in two runs on one hit. Blake Rebstock drove in one run on a 3-for-4 effort, and Bradley O'Neal drove in one on one hit.

Musco struck out one and walked three in the win, while Mathew Conlon and Tripp Templeton closed out the game, with Conlon giving up two hits in two innings and Templeton allowing one run on one hit in the ninth.

The Riverhawks scored two runs in the seventh and added four in the eighth before allowing the Shoreman the single run in the ninth on a two-out double to left.

AACC hosts CCBC Dundalk Thursday in 3:30 pm single game.
