Race Notes
The Riverhawk women's cross country team made their second appearance in Salisbury, MD this season, competing in the 30th Annual Don Cathcart Invitational over the weekend (9/29). After opening their season with the Salisbury Fall Classic, the Riverhawks would once again run the trails of Winter Place Park. With twelve teams competing, AACC was among 4-year institutions of the NCAA DI-DIII levels.
Emily Jacobsen (Harwood, MD/South River) would finish first for the Riverhawks with her 6K time of 26:11, with Renee Relf (Glen Burnie, MD/Old Mill) not long after at 26:43. Madeline Fitzgerald (Shady Side, MD/Southern) would come in at 29:09 followed by Leslei Garcia Mendez (Crofton, MD/Arundel) at 30:11 and Heather Verdin (Severn, MD/Old Mill) at 33:53.

The Riverhawks will travel to Pennsylvania for their next meet, competing in the Gettysburg College Invitational hosted by Gettysburg College. Race time is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. on Saturday October 13th.
