Race Notes

              The Riverhawk women's cross country team opened their 2018-19 season this past weekend (9/1) as they traveled to Salisbury, MD to compete in the 2018 Salisbury University Fall Classic hosted by the Sea Gulls. The 6K course was held at Winter Place Park.

              AACC had four runners finish the race of the brutally hot Saturday morning – with Emily Jacobsen (Harwood, MD/South River) finishing first for the Riverhawks with a 6k time of 26:29. Renee Relf (Glen Burnie, MD/Old Mill) would be the next Riverhawk finisher at 29:20 followed by Leslei Garcia Mendez (Crofton, MD/Arundel) at 32:34 and Madeline Fitzgerald (Shady Side, MD/Southern) at 32:37.

Up Next

              The Riverhawks will travel to Youngwood, PA for their next meet, competing in the Westmoreland Invitational hosted by Westmoreland County Community College. Race time is scheduled for 9:45 a.m. on Saturday September 8th.
