Game Notes

It has been a tough start to the Riverhawk women's volleyball season – losing, now 4, straight matches. The match against NJCAA DII, Region 20 Skipjacks of Chesapeake College (9/12/2017) fell right in line. Forced to adjust rotational strategies due to injuries, proved to take some getting used to as the Riverhawks lost by twenty in set 1, followed by a close couple final sets.

SET 1: Struggling with adjustment to new rotations and positioning – forced upon due to injury, the Riverhawks lost set 1 by a wide margin of twenty points with the final set score of 25-5.

SET 2: The second set showed the Riverhawks working through and adjusting properly, but would still come up short in the end, losing 25-22.

SET 3: As the Skipjacks maintained their consistent play – the Riverhawks just could not get ahead despite grabbing the lead at one point, Chesapeake was still able to pull ahead and earn the 25-21 win for set 3.

With winning three straight sets, the Skipjacks of Chesapeake College would earn the 3-0 win over the Riverhawks.
