Game Notes
The Riverhawks played tough in their 1-0 loss to the NJCAA DIII Region III Lazers of Onondaga Community College of Syracuse, NY.
Although scoreless after the first half, the Riverhawks seemed to be controlling the pace of the game as they outshot their opponent 10-4 after the first 45 minutes of play.
With some aggressive action in the box – a Riverhawk foul would give the Lazers a penalty kick at the 74th minute. Brianna Wieszczynski would capitalize on the penalty kick for the Lazers, giving the Onondaga team a 1-0 lead.
With little time remaining, the Riverhawks could not find the goal they needed to extend the play into overtime.

The Riverhawks will be on the road for their next contest as they are scheduled to face the Bears of Harcum College. The match against the NJCAA DI Region XIX Bears is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on Thursday (8/31) at the Harcum campus in Bryn Mawr, PA.
