ARNOLD, MD – It was a low scoring start to the match-up between the women of AACC and CCBC Catonsville on Wednesday night. It wasn't until the Cardinals drained a free throw halfway through the first quarter did either team find the net and after the conclusion of the first quarter the Cardinals were ahead, 5-4.

As the Cardinals began to find their rhythm, the once one point lead had increased to a steady lead of at least ten points over the Riverhawks throughout the remaining quarters. 

Two Riverhawk players posted double-doubles for the night, Alexxis Evans with 13 points and 10 rebounds and Jasmine Wallace with 12 points and 13 rebounds. Madison Cowan also found herself in the double-digit scoring with 10 points on the night, but despite the impressive stats, it just wasn't enough to best the Cardinals.

CCBC Catonsville earned the win, finishing 58-45, over AACC.
