Update: McKinney makes All-American, third team

Freshman guard Tiffany McKinney had an outstanding 2014-2015 season for the Pioneers. She finished as the leading scorer in Maryland JUCO, and was eighth in the nation averaging 23 points per game through 21 games, and she earned first team all-conference and all region honors, and made All-American, third team. She was a Maryland JUCO student-athlete of the month in January.

McKinney is the only first-year player on the all-conference first and second teams, and was the top pick for all NJCAA Region XX Division III players.  She is on track to graduate this year, and several schools have shown interest in recruiting her for their programs.

Coach Makell is proud of her achievements saying, "Good, positive things are happening for AACC women's basketball. Tiffany shines in the classroom and on the court. She is the type of player we are recruiting for our program, and we want to help continue their careers at four-year schools."
