The Riverhawks were able to end a tough, two-game losing streak with a Conference/Regional & Divisional win over the NJCAA DIII Region XX Trojans of Allegany College of Maryland on Tuesday night (9/19). Hosted by the Trojans, the Riverhawks left the field with a 5-0 win.
Noah Beall (Odenton, MD/Annapolis Area Christian School) struck first for AACC with a goal assisted by Logan Mayette (Millersville, MD/Old Mill), claiming the 1-0 lead over Allegany. Ryan Gruss (Pasadena, MD/Chesapeake) would add 2 of his 3 goals for the day next, one unassisted and one assisted by goalkeeper Austin Noland (Glen Burnie, MD/Glen Burnie). Jyoti Deva Lewis (Annapolis, MD/The Key School) would be the fourth goal of the 4-0 Riverhawk lead, before Gruss would complete his hat trick off and an assist from Zachary Roberts (Pasadena, MD/Archbishop Spalding).
The Riverhawks would finish the game with the 5-0 lead, earning the victory.
