Kenneth Robertson Earns All-American Honors

Sophomore Kenneth Robertson earned a spot on the 2015 NJCAA Men's Lacrosse All-American, second team for outstanding defensive play.

Robertson played two seasons for the Pioneers as a defenseman. As a freshman he earned all-region and all-conference, second team honors, and in his sophomore season he was all-region and all-conference, first team, all region tournament team, and received the team's defensive MVP award. He was also a finalist for the 2015 Dr. Andrew G. Truxal Award presented  during the athletics department's annual awards ceremony to the outstanding graduating athlete.

Coach Jason Grace credits Robertson's success to his sound fundamentals, and his desire and determination to perform at his best.  "Kenny was a great player to have on the team.  He worked hard and always wanted to be the best that he could be.  Every game he wanted to be on the opposing team's best player.  He wanted to challenge himself and make himself better every day.  He was not always the biggest guy on the field, but his determination is what made him the player he is.  His strengths on the field were his IQ, footwork, stick skills, and he was just fundamentally sound. He would step up and teach his teammates and make them better players as well."

Multiple schools have shown an interest in having him play next year.
