Men's Lacrosse Tries for Undefeated Home Record

The men's lacrosse team (11-4) is looking to tally a perfect record for games played at home this season if they can manage to slay the visiting Howard Community College Dragons (6-5) on Fri. Apr. 18 at 7 p.m. in the final regular season game.  Both teams have been nationally ranked all season. The Pioneers have held the fourth position for the past three weeks, and Howard currently claims ninth so expect top-notch play in this conference match up.

Freshman midfielder Hunter Cetrone (Arundel High) is AACC's leading scorer with 25 goals and 15 assists in 11 games, and is sixth in the conference.  Sophomore goalie Mike Brennan (Chesapeake) is second in the conference with 129 saves with 65 goals against.  The Pioneer's defense will need work hard to corral Howard's Dan Kaplan who leads the conference with 38 goals and 15 assists.

AACC hopes to continue the momentum of a three-game win streak, with their latest coming this past Tues., 16-10 over visiting Harford CC (#5) in the cold rain.
