AACC Golfers Finish Well at 2015 National Championship

Three AACC golfers qualified for the 2015 NJCAA Division III Golf National Championship held June 1-5 at the Chautauqua Golf Club in Jamestown, N.Y. 

This was the second trip to the nationals at Chautauqua for sophomores Cheuk Ma, and Thaddeus Dinan, and they were joined by freshman Aaron Jones to compete in individual play for four rounds in a field of 93 golfers.  Par for the 6559 yard course is 72.

Experience paid off for Dinan and Ma as they improved their 2014 scores and finishes of 23rd (315) and 25th (316) respectively.

Dinan led the Pioneers with a seventh place finish scoring 302 (+14) with rounds of 75, 76, 74, and 77.  He is a 2015 All-American, an elite honor reserved for the top 18 golfers.

Ma tied for 24th shooting rounds of 81, 74, 78, and 79 for a total of 312 (+ 24) and Aaron Jones tied for 54th shooting 76, 83, 86, and 82 for a total of 327 (+ 39).
