Friday – Riverhawks vs. Allegany College of Maryland Trojans 

              Final Score: Riverhawks 76, Trojans 94

                            Opening the Pepsi Christmas Classicagainst host ACM, the Riverhawks had a tough showing against the Trojans, dropping 94-76. With the Trojans finishing with 13 buckets from beyond the arc (to AACC's 4), the hard-fought battle of the Riverhawks would fall short to the finishing efforts of ACM.

                            Dayvon Cuffey (Glen Burnie, MD/Glen Burnie) would post his fourth double double of the season, finishing with 24 points and 10 rebounds. Jacoby Rojas (San Angelo, TX/Northeast) would follow with 19 points, but the duo of Cuffey and Rojas would finish as the lone Riverhawks to hit double digits of the debut contest. Contributing at the boards, Deondre McNeill (Pasadena, MD/Chesapeake) would finish just shy of a double double, grabbing 13 rebounds while posting 9 points.

Saturday – Riverhawks vs. Pennsylvania Highlands Community College Black Bears 

              Final Score: Riverhawks 87, Black Bears 77

                            The Riverhawks next contest would be an import Conference, Regional, & Divisional match-up as they faced the NJCAA DIII Region XX Black Bears of Pennsylvania Highlands Community College. Following up to the day one loss, AACC would earn the crucial win over the Black Bears in a team spread performance, 87-77.  Five Riverhawks would finish in double digits this contest, two of which would come from off the bench. Rojas would finish with 16 points, as Cuffey and Marcus Gatson (Severn, MD/North Couty) would each post 15 points on the night. Joseph Chase (Glen Burnie, MD/Churchville Christian) finished with 13 points and McNeill would finish with 10 points.

                            With the weekend results, AACC is now 5-4 on the season and 2-1 within the Conference.

                            Facing another 5-4 team, the Riverhawks will travel to face the NJCAA DI Region XX Owls of Harford Community College this Wednesday (12/5). As part of a double header the men will play at the conclusion of the women's match-up (set for 5:00 p.m.), with tip-off scheduled for 7:00 p.m. in the APG Federal Credit Union Arena of the Harford Community College campus in Bel Air, MD
