Men's Basketball falls to Harford CC

Men's Basketball falls to Harford CC

The Riverhawks outscored Harford 40-30 in the second half but couldn't quite get over the hump to top the Fighting Owls. The three ball was the go-to for AACC shooting nearly 50% from beyond the arc. Marcus Dentley led the Riverhawks with a season high 27 points, and missed just three shots all night for an 83% field goal percentage. Michael Ledbetter and Wesley Bennett pitched in with 14 points and 9 points respectively, combining for 5 of 11 from three point land. Jemuel Brown added 10 points for AACC.

Anne Arundel is playing competitive ball despite their record which does not showcase the ability of the young squad. They have lost three of their last four by less than 10 points and have been in place to win their last 10 games.

They host College of Southern Maryland this Wednesday night at 7pm.
