ARNOLD, MD – Anne Arundel Community College freshman baseball player Drew Erlich has been named to the NJCAA Region XX Division II All-Region Honorable Mention Team at catcher, it was announced recently.
Erlich averaged .315 in 19 conference games, driving in 16 runs on 17 hits. He posted a .957 fielding percentage and caught seven runners stealing while allowing just one passed ball. He struck out just three times in 54 at bats in conference action, and stole three of his six bases in league play.
Erlich had seven multiple-hit games before missing 11 of the final 12 games of the season due to injury.
The Riverhawks finished the season 11-32 overall and 6-20 in MDJUCO games.
