Baseball falls in extra innings at Prince George's County

LARGO, MD –The Anne Arundel Community College baseball team dropped an 8-7 extra-innings game at Prince George's Community College Tuesday afternoon. Despite scoring four runs in the top of the 11th to take the lead, the Riverhawks surrendered 5 runs in the bottom of the frame for the Owls to take the walk-off win.

Anne Arundel (9-17) was led by freshman catcher Drew Ehrlich, who hit his second career home run, a three-run bomb in the top of the 11th to go with a double earlier in the game. Five other Riverhawks posted multi-hit games, including sophomore outfielder Blake Rebstock, freshman short stop Shelby Wheeler, and sophomore infielder Andrew Revels each drove in a run on two hits. 

On the mound for the Riverhawks, freshman righty Caleb Musco struck out six and allowed three earned runs over six and a third innings. 

Anne Arundel continues NJCAA DIII Region XX action at home Thursday, April 4th in a 3:30 pm game against CCBC-Catonsville.
