Hillary Fisher joined the Riverhawks’ staff as Assistant Athletic Director for Communications in April, 2019. She brings more than a decade of athletics administration experience at NCAA Divisions I, II, and III.

Fisher returned to athletics administration after spending six years as the lacrosse office manager for both the men’s and women’s teams at NCAA Division I Johns Hopkins University. There she coordinated recruit correspondence and databases, team and coach travel and calendars, as well as all administrative duties for the teams. During her tenure she kept her hands in the communications field as a sought-after freelancer around the greater Baltimore area.

Prior to working at Hopkins, Fisher served as the Sports Information Director at NCAA Division III Nichols College in Dudley, Massachusetts. During her four years with the Bison, she promoted 15 Division III varsity sports to local and national media, managed a student game-day operations staff, and oversaw a website redesign in 2012 and an athletics rebranding initiative in 2011.

Fisher broadened her skills as Assistant Sports Information Director at Union College (N.Y.) from 2006-2008, working primarily with the NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Ice Hockey teams and nine NCAA Division III teams. She joined the profession full time with a one-year internship as Assistant Sports Information Director at NCAA Division II Saint Anselm College in 2005.

A 2003 graduate of SUNY Potsdam’s Crane School of Music, Fisher started her career as a student worker in the Bears’ SID office, following with various game day positions at University of Vermont and the Vermont Expos/Lake Monsters of Minor League Baseball’s New York Penn League (Single A Short Season).

Originally from St. Albans, Vermont, Fisher resides in Crofton, Maryland, with her family.
