O'Toole Recognized as National Player of the Week

The Details

Riverhawk women's lacrosse player Alyssa Baronella-O'Toole (Severn, MD/Old Mill) or more commonly known as "AB" was awarded "NJCAA Player of the Week" for her recent stellar performances.

It came with little surprise that AB would be recognized, as she has been quite the offensive force all season long for the Riverhawks. Specifically for her awarded week, O'Toole recorded 14 total points with 11 goals to help lead AACC in two victories – one of which included an astounding 8 goals and 1 assist in the 20-17 final over the No. 5 nationally ranked Dragons of Howard Community College.

Up Next

The Riverhawks still have some tough competition left on their schedule with Regional and National tournaments just around the corner. Their next match-up is scheduled for Thursday April 19th – against the Cougars of Frederick Community College. The Riverhawks previously faced the Cougars, winning, 20-1. The rematch will be hosted by the Cougars at the Frederick Community College Campus in Frederick, MD with a start time scheduled for 4:00 pm.
