Region XX All-Academic Team Eligibility Requirements:
- The student athlete must have completed a minimum of 36 credit hours of college course work. Students who have transferred to a Region XX institution from another college or university may include, for consideration, up to 18 credit hours from the institution(s) attended. Thus, a student applying for this award may have half of the total credits considered completed at another institution.
- Transcripts of work completed at another institution must be considered in their entirety.
- The student athlete must have a cumulative GPA of at least a 3.50 or higher.
- The student athlete must have participated in at least one season of the varsity sport in the year for which they are being nominated.
- The student athlete must have been submitted on the sports official eligibility list.
- The student athlete must have been an active member of the tram for the duration of the season.

Maryland Junior College Athletic Conference All-Academic Team Eligibility Requirements:
- The Maryland JUCO Academic All-Conference award will be awarded to
students who meet the follow criteria:
- First year students:
- Student must pass 18 credits in 2 semesters
- GPA must be a 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale
- Must compete in a varsity sport during the year of nomination
- Developmental or remedial courses are excluded from consideration
- Second year students:
- Student must pass 42 credits in 4 semesters
- GPA must be a 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale
- Must compete in a varsity sport during the year of nomination
